About Dynamite Appliance
Dynamite Appliance is two people: Joe Rall and Adam Santamaria. We met in kindergarten at Merrimac Elementary in Sachem and have been great friends ever since. We always wanted to work together. A mutual friend showed us an opportunity in appliances, and we took it.
How we started
We proved the idea on the floor of the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Ronkonkoma. Truckloads of scratch-and-dent appliances, sold on consignment, a handshake deal. It worked well enough that we outgrew it. Today every appliance we sell arrives at our own warehouse in Holbrook, where we inspect it, test it, and grade it before it goes up for sale.
How we work
Technology that works for us
We build our own tools instead of renting someone else's. Every listing on this site is one specific unit with its own photos and condition grade, tracked from the truck to your door. And if you send an AI assistant to shop for you, this site speaks its language too.
Honest about every unit
Scratch-and-dent means scratches and dents. We photograph them, grade them, and price accordingly, so you know exactly what you're getting before you drive over. Every appliance still carries a full 1-year manufacturer warranty.
Respect for the customer
No pressure, no games, no surprises in the fine print. We would rather talk you out of the wrong appliance than sell it to you. Call or text and you get one of us, not a call center.
What's next
Right now we sell appliances. That's the starting point, not the whole plan. There is more coming, and Instagram is where we announce it first.
